Mercury transits the Sun, crossing the face of the solar disc, on November 11th between 12.30pm and 6.30pm UTC/GMT – the fleet footed planet’s nodes are only minutes of arc apart and fall within the transit, the Mercury NN being crossed within orb between 3.29 and 3.46pm UTC and its SN being transited between 7.05 and 7.22pm UTC. Why does this matter?…..
……for magical, meditative and prayerful purposes these timings allow a window of opportunity to call upon intents and purposes that have been given to us personally, which tap us into the potential stored within our ancestral memory through their endorsements of our lives and to become conscious of which of these purposes and endorsements affect the activation of our personal DNA, allowing us to engage with them intentionally – a still mind will allow their message to emerge.
Stillness is important here and this transit is deeply suggestive of scrying and similar means of divination to be undertaken during its course – otherwise, and similarly, imagine your mind as a deep body of water whose surface is glassy smooth, ultra clear yet alive within its darkness – it is this aliveness from which the communications emerge; ripples to the surface being reflections of emotional energy can be peripheral to the meditation, a potential distraction and obscuring to the inner communications at work.
The full window for medicine work which the transit represents also presents a preparation for the full moon which follows on the 12th, more on which in a while…..but, following the new moon release of epigenetically stored memories within the Earth sphere, via resonant opposition with Uranus in Taurus on Oct. 28th, the Sun crossing the Scorpio midpoint coinciding with Ceres transit of the Galactic centre on Samhain, and the coming transits involving Venus, Jupiter, the GC, Mars and Uranus, the deep roots of matrilineal memory that crosses generations and connects ancient and future ancestry has been activated and is going to grow in volume and strength as the lunation travels towards completion. This is all intrinsic to the major unifying conjunctions in Capricorn after new year.
